We visited La Sagrada Familia, an enormous church designed by Antoni Gaudí.  Construction was started on it roughly 100 years ago, but planned to be completed between 2020 and 2040. The lengthy build process is due partly to the massive scale of the project, but mostly to the death of the architect midway through the building of La Sagrada Familia. Latter in the day, we visited park Guell, also designed by Gaudí, which offered sweeping views of the city and the ocean.
